I took my first steps into the ballet studio at the ripe age of two and stepped on stage for the last time 14 years later. Needless to say, dance has been a huge influence in my life. It brought out my passion for movement and the body and I am eternally grateful for this. I left the dance world and to begin to pursue a path in academia like so many do. But in the meantime, I had stumbled into the yoga studio, eagerly looking for a way to move, connect back to the body, and heal numerous injuries. I got absolutely hooked. Since then, I have completed 400 hours of Yoga Teacher Training; 200Hrs here at home with PHY and 200Hrs with Meghan Currie in Nicaragua. To add to my training, I have recently completed my SURFSET certification.
I have always had quite the travel bug and have been fortunate enough to be able to travel and volunteer all over, from Kenya to Ecuador. It was on one of my trips to South America where I got my first taste from surfing. This is no doubt one of the reasons that South and Central America have my heart and my never incessant returns.
SRF has been the dot that connects all of my loves into one sweet spot. Surf, yoga, fitness and the raddest humans around. I am so excited to join this amazing team.
Surf’s up YYC. You in?
You can find me in the yoga studio, in the mountains, spending some quality time with the fur baby, or plotting my next adventure over seas. This fall I’ll be pursuing holistic nutrition with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.
