We want to salute our MoBro’s who are committing to raise awareness for men’s health issues this Movember. The Movember campaign originated in Australia, one of our favorite surf destinations, in 2004.

Since 2004, Movember has grown from a small group of 30 dudes who committed to growing out their facial hair in an effort to raise awareness for men’s health issues such as prostrate cancer. Today, Movember is the largest men’s health non-profit fundraising imitative. Today, Movember works to raise awareness for prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental illness.

At Studio Revolution, we’re stoked to jump on board and ride the Movember wave. We believe in promoting healthy living for both men and women. For us, health and fitness are intertwined. Our goal at Studio Revolution is to inspire our community to take ownership of their health by committing to fitness.

The National Cancer institute states that physical activity helps reduce the risk of specific cancers. Research conducted by the institute shows that regular exercise assists the body in its detoxification process.  (Hello sweet sweat!)

To show our love for men’s health, this month we’re focused on burning out the biceps and sculpting surfer shoulders that would make Kelly Slater fit-envious.
